So the client worked without any problem last night and this morning i tried logging in and it didn't let me get in for the first 5 times and when i finally got into the lobby and clicked on join, it said logging in please wait and never went any further. I tried waiting for a couple of minutes and nothing seemed to help. I closed the client and started it back and then i get the c0000409 Error. I went through NXT issue posts and other players seem to be getting the same error too. Is the a fix to this? It's really annoying and I just did a clean install of Windows 10 an hour ago, Though that didn't seem to help yet again.

Someone with a clue on what this is about? This is what worked for me, but keep in mind, I tried a combination of many, many methods.

These are the steps I felt made a difference. (win10) And by the way, I have played for days now on my new laptop without it crashing after doing so. • I ran the new launcher in windows compatibility mode. I stated it had worked on windows 8. After doing the steps, I tested the application. • The application crashed pretty quickly, but runescape suggested I ran the game in compatibility mode inside the launcher.

There is a button when you first open runescape in the bottom left that you can enable this. It seems when you run in both compatibility mode from inside windows and runescape, the crashing seems to stop. Hope this helps.
